PROTECTING THE MOST VULNERABLE CHILDREN FROM THE IMPACT

Due to a lack of protection, the majority of children, especially today, are at risk. The COVID-19 situation has had a negative impact on their emotional and physical well-being. Mental health is the most affected because they are already dealing with a serious problem and adjusting to a new and unfamiliar way of life at such a young age. Their physical health is the second most harmed by the epidemic's reduction in physical activities.

The pandemic of the Corona Virus disease, known as Covid-19, had a significant impact on children's lives, particularly in terms of education and the ability to go outside. Children's safety, well-being, and future are all affected by societal disruptions, and only by working together can we ensure that millions of girls and boys, especially those affected by poverty, violence, and humanitarian crises, are healthy, safe, and learning.

Not everyone has it easy. We need to secure not only ourselves, but also others around us. Particularly, children. They are the key to our future success. In the legendary words of Dr. Jose Rizal, "youth is the country's hope," "youth is the people's hope."
